The land vegetation according to Champion and Seth's classification belongs to the sub group Southern tropical Dry Deciduous Forest - 5A-CI-1B forests type with teak as dominant species.  The main associates of teak are Ain, Bija, Dhauda, Haldu, Salai, Semal, Tendu and Bamboo. Almost 40% area is covered with bamboo.  Trees of Jamun, Mango, Arjun are found in the moist area.   
The composition of the crop is as under :
                 Teak Forest        11.48%
                 Mixed Forest       76.16%
                 Grassland            7.17%
                 Degraded Areas  5.19%
